Shri Suhas Vyas, son and disciple of late Padmabhushan Pandit C. R. Vyas, is an established vocalist on the contemporary scene of Indian Classical Music. As a keen student of music and as a result of his family lineage, he was fortunate to be in the august company of several great artistes, most notably, his celebrated father Pandit C. R. Vyas, from whom he got brilliant insights in the complex lobyprints of ragas. He is today recognized as a torch bearer of the ancient traditions as well as carrying forward the renaissance movement of Indian classical music.

Shri Vyas has been performing on prestigious platforms, training students and conducting lecture demonstrations all over the country and abroad. Shri Vyas's method of teaching involves a targetted focus on how to help the student do riyaz that is specifically designed for his/her level of musical mastery/exposure. This allows the student to independently perform the riyaz and assess his/her progress. Other times, Shri Vyas' training involves just observing his riyaz, so that the students can consciously and sub-consciously absorb the musical sanskars. He believes in individualized attention to all his students, and takes as much pride in being a sincere teacher of this art, as being a celebrated musician.
