Karthick Iyer represents the exciting new breed of music producers in the emerging world of Popular Indian/World music. He has enriched and helped redefine the styles of Carnatic Fusion and Indo-Pop with his refined melodic sense, energy and depth of harmonic structure.
A highly accomplished Carnatic violinist/vocalist with an equally strong background in Popular and Fusion music, by training, he runs KI studios where he works on diverse projects from writing film scores and recording and programming songs for Indian Cinema to working with fusion and pop groups. He has worked with the likes of A.R.Rahman and has recently also released his own album titled “Perennial Quest” intended for use in Indian Cinema. Besides this he has toured many countries including the recently concluded UK tour where he performing at the mega festival Glastonbury.
